An Inter-Club Pennant is run by the FSCDGA each year usually starting in early February with the finals in April.
The pennant is open to amateur golfers who are current financial members of Clubs affiliated with the Golf NSW and FSCDGA, and who hold a current Golf Australia handicap or WGA handicap (Junior girl) and who are eligible to compete in their Club Championship are eligible to represent their respective clubs.
The competition is conducted as Match Play and is split into four divisions – Division 1, Division 2, Seniors Masters, and Juniors. The number of players in each team is as follows:
Division 1 5 players No H'cap restriction play off scratch
Division 2 5 players H’caps 0 – 36 play off handicap
Senior Masters 5 players H’caps 0 – 36 play off handicap
Juniors 5 players H’caps 0 – 36 play off handicap
Seniors – must be 55 years or more at the start of the Pennant season.
Juniors – must be under 18 at the start of the Pennant season. N.B. A girl playing in the Junior Pennant, (maximum handicap 36) will play from the red markers on each hole.
The draws are published in early January and are dependent on the number of entries. Historically Division 1 and Juniors are held Association wide while Division 2 and Senior Masters are played in North & South conferences. The North being Mollymook, Catalina, Moruya, Tuross and Narooma and the South Bermagui, Tathra, Bega, Tura Beach, Pambula/Merimbula and Eden
